Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

By using Jannater Sathi, creating an account, submitting biodata, unlocking contact information, making a payment, or using any feature, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and applicable rules. The platform is a technology service that facilitates marriage-oriented introductions, biodata discovery, and controlled contact; it is not a matchmaker, investigator, identity-verification agency, marriage adviser, or representative of any user.

1. Registration and account security

After final mobile verification creates an account, a user may be redirected to Account Settings to complete email verification and password creation. Users are responsible for using their own email/mobile, keeping account details accurate, and protecting OTPs, passwords, and PINs. Account misuse, credential sharing, impersonation, and verification bypass attempts are prohibited.

2. No guarantee or endorsement

No biodata, admin approval, badge, match score, Favorite/Shortlist, contact unlock, successful-marriage count, or other feature guarantees or endorses a person’s identity, age, marital status, character, religious practice, education, employment, income, assets, health, safety, family circumstances, or suitability for marriage. User-supplied information may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading.

3. Eligibility, consent, and user responsibility

Users are responsible for legal eligibility to use the service and marry, any required family/guardian consent, and lawful use of submitted information. False identity, harassment, fraud, scraping, automated abuse, unauthorized data collection, unlawful proposals, and deceptive requests for money are prohibited.

4. Biodata and third-party information

Users are responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of text, photos, documents, phone numbers, email addresses, family information, declarations, and other content they submit. A user who uploads another person’s image or information is responsible for obtaining the required consent and authority.

5. Independent verification is required

Before contact, meetings, gifts or financial dealings, engagement, or marriage, independently verify identity, age, marital status, family, education, employment, income, address, and other important claims. Jannater Sathi review is not a complete background check.

6. Favorite and view statistics

Favorite/Shortlist is a saving feature, not a proposal or consent. The “your biodata was favorited” dashboard count may be based on distinct accounts. For profile-view statistics, a user’s own view is excluded and the same viewer account is counted at most once for the same biodata within 24 hours. These statistics are technical usage indicators and do not guarantee marriage interest or suitability.

7. Contact and offline interaction

Calls, messages, social-media contact, in-person meetings, travel, location sharing, family discussions, gifts, and other offline interactions occur at the parties’ own discretion and risk. The platform does not control a user’s conduct, promises, fraud, harassment, safety, or relationship outcome.

8. Payments, connections, and digital benefits

Packages, connections, prices, validity, coupons, discounts, and payable amounts are governed by the relevant purchase screen. A connection is a digital entitlement for controlled contact access; it does not guarantee a match, response, or marriage. A payment may not be treated as successful without valid provider confirmation. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

9. Biodata/account deletion and reason declarations

The deletion reason must be selected truthfully. Available reasons are: marriage completed through Jannater Sathi, marriage completed through family, or no longer interested in marriage. In self-deletion, the first reason may require OTP verification through the other party’s registered mobile. In an admin deletion flow, an authorized admin may identify the other platform account using phone/email/biodata number. False reporting, unauthorized identity use, and deceptive OTP collection are prohibited.

10. Successful-marriage count and retained audit data

The same platform account pair properly recorded as “marriage completed through Jannater Sathi” is counted once in Total Successful Marriages; the Home page and Admin dashboard counters may be based on these verified records. The count does not guarantee the legal validity, quality, or future outcome of a marriage. Pair/account identifiers and limited verification records may be retained for duplicate prevention, auditing, and administration.

11. Delete Archive and limited retention

When an admin permanently deletes an account/biodata, operational data may be removed, while a limited common snapshot may be retained in the Delete Archive for administrative/security/audit purposes, including name, email, mobile, biodata number/type, marital status, age/birth data, location, education, profession, economic status, and relevant guardian/contact information. If recorded as a Jannater Sathi marriage, common snapshots of both parties may be retained. Retention is subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

12. Third-party services

SMS, email, hosting, analytics, cloud, Google Play, banks, mobile-financial services, and payment gateways may be operated by independent providers. Their availability, downtime, delay, settlement, reversal, security incidents, pricing, policies, or failures may be outside our direct control.

13. Account restriction and content removal

Accounts, biodata, content, or features may be reviewed, limited, suspended, rejected, or removed for security risks, policy violations, impersonation, suspected fraud, chargeback abuse, harassment, false information, legal requests, or platform protection where applicable law does not require otherwise.

14. Service availability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Maintenance, hosting issues, network failure, cyber incidents, third-party outages, updates, or other events may cause interruption. Continuous, error-free, or always-available service is not guaranteed.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Jannater Sathi, its owners, administrators, personnel, and service providers do not accept liability for user-supplied misinformation, user conduct, private/offline interactions, fraud by another user, marriage decisions/outcomes, lost opportunities, data loss, indirect/incidental/consequential loss, third-party failures, or users’ own decisions. Rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited remain unaffected.

16. Changes

These Terms may be updated for service, security, payment, legal, or operational needs. Continued use after publication of an updated version may constitute acceptance where applicable law does not require a different notice or consent process.
